When they asked Jesus to show them the kingdom, He said if He showed it the way they were asking, they would not see it, because invisible does not mean non-existent. It means a reality beyond the perception of mankind. The one thing you will ever have to do to be successful is believe God; you do not need a devil to have a terrible day, only a free will that exempts itself from seeking the kingdom. The devil is not lord of this world, God is, so we do not scream at evil; we stand up and say God is good.
