Before dominion could be taken, purpose had to be given a body, and that body was called mankind. Obedience was never about restriction; touching what was forbidden meant breaking union with God, while trust kept that union whole. 'I am the Lord God, I do not change' is the ground beneath every promise, which is why the whys can be removed from our vocabulary entirely. When correction comes, it is not rejection, it is God reminding us of the wholeness we were created in.
