Obedience reveals who you're a slave to, and sin rules as a taskmaster while righteousness reigns through love. Redemption isn't a return to innocence lost, it's a restoration to who we were in the beginning, before shame ever entered the picture. We aren't called to be slaves to our past or our future, only to the present, where it is no longer we who live but Christ who lives through us. Fear moves us, not evil itself, and only worship through God gives us dominion, not striving.
